1. What is a VoIP phone?

A VoIP phone is a telephone set designed specifically for use in a voice over IP (VoIP) system by converting standard telephone audio into a digital format that can be transmitted over the Internet, and by converting incoming digital phone signals from the Internet to standard telephone audio. A VoIP phone allows the user to take advantage of VoIP technology without involving a personal computer, although an Internet connection is required.


2. I don't have an internet service; can I avail you VoIP Phone service?

No, you cannot use our VoIP phone service if you don't have internet. But still you can avail our regular analog home phone.


3. Can I keep my same phone number?

Yes, you can keep your same phone number. All we need is your recent current service providers invoice which should contains the following

  • Your account number with the current provider
  • Phone number
  • Name and address of the account holder
  • Letter of authorization.


4. Is 911 services available from my VOIP phone?

Yes, But it has its own limitations. Please read our 911 limitation policy for more information.


5. Do you charge for address change?

No, you there is no charges for moving. All it requires a working high speed internet connection to work.

6. I have my own VOIP device; can I use your service without device fee?

Yes, you can use your own VOIP device and we will provide you with the initial support to set up the service.


7. I have signed up for one year plan what should I do if I dont like the service or if I want to cancel the service?

If you have signed up for one year plan and if you dont like the service for some reason and would like to cancel the service, you have to provide 30 days notice prior to your billing date. We will be charging the regular monthly charges until the cancellation date. Also the LNP charges, Activation Charges and the device charges are non refundable.



1. How to Connect the VOIP phone?

  • Plug the ETHERNET Cable into any of the Ethernet port/WAN ports available at the back of the internet modem.
  • Plug in the other end other end of the ETHERNET Cable into the Blue Color (INTERNET) port on the back of the VoIP phone adapter (LINKSYS SPA2102).
  • Plug the smaller end of the LINKSYS Power Cord into the circular Power Port on the back of the VoIP Phone adapter (LINKSYS SPA-2102).
  • Plug the phone cable coming from your Phone equipment into the PHONE 1 on the back of the (LINKSYS SPA-2102) VoIP phone adapter.


2. What should I do if my phone is not working?

  • Check whether your internet is working?
  • If your internet is not working, contact your ISP (internet service provider). If you ISP is Sunsonic, please refer to internet troubleshooting guide below.
  • If yes, check whether the power cable and the cable connecting the modem and the VOIP device are connected properly?
  • Remove the power cable of the VOIP device and wait for 20 seconds and plug it back.
  • Wait till the lights in the VOIP device are steady and GREEN.
  • If the internet is working fine but still the phone is not working, check the status of the lights in the Linksys/Cisco device. Make sure, the three lights (Power, Internet and phone 1) are ON and steady.
  • If all the three lights are ON then make sure the phone is plugged in properly to the phone 1 port of the Linksys/Cisco device. Also make sure if any of the calling feature is activated. If so deactivate and make a test call.

3. What should I do if my internet is not working?
